Spiked inflorescence with pale white blossoms and brown scaly bracts. While squawroot is not a particularly "pretty" plant, it is quite interesting.

Bees are clearly among the pollenators for Squawroot. Here a bee has its head buried deep a blossom on the spike inflorescence of a squawroot plant.
