Clematis terniflora - Sweet Autumn Clematis, Sweet Autumn Virginsbower, Leatherleaf Clematis, Yam-leaved Clematis. Sweet Autumn Clematis is a non-native climbing vine with sweet-smelling white blossoms. Sweet Autumn Virginsbower is the USDA "national common name."
According to the Southeast Exotic Pest Plant Council it can be weedy or invasive, and that is also my personal observation.
