Nothoscordum bivalve - False Garlic, Crowpoison. Nothoscordum bivalve was formerly classified in the lily family, but has recently been moved to the Amaryllis family. It does not have the oniony-smell of true garlics and onions. It is classified as Rare in Indiana, and as Threatened in Ohio.

False Garlic has 6 white tepals each about 1/2 inch long, with stamens nearly as long as the tepals.
