Hydrophyllum canadense - Broad-leaf Waterleaf ; Bluntleaf Waterleaf, Maple-leaf Waterleaf. Broad-leaf Waterleaf is a woodland plant which grows from 1 to 2 feet tall, and blossoms in late spring. The maple-leaved plant is similar to H. appendiculatum - Appendaged Waterleaf, but the latter is a distinctly hairy plant, and is not usually found with white blossoms.

There are several blossoms in a cluster usually below the topmost leaves. The hairy filaments give the blossom cluster a fuzzy appearance. The flowers are white to lavender. | |
