The blooming of the redbud trees are one of the early indicators of the end of winter here in North Georgia.

Note: The photos here are, unlike most of the photos on this website, of a cultivated tree, taken for convenience sake. However, there are dozens of naturally-occurring redbud trees in the immediate vicinity. I simply didn't want to fight the briars and brambles to get to them.
