My Favorite Wildflower ID Reference:

I use this book extensively for my Idaho trips. This is the updated 3rd edition; I have the 2nd edition.

My go-to lens for wildflower photography:

I use this remote release - helps ensure sharp photos:

This is the tripod I use:

This is the replacement for the 486RC2 I use.
If I were buying now I would purchase this tripod head.

I used a Nikon D7000; love that camera. Here is the newer version:

My wife's camera:

My primary camera bag (I have the older 100 AW); I carry a D7000 with lens, 2 or 3 other lenses, SB400 flash, batteries, car keys, Clif Bar, etc in this pack:

I use a Pelican case for canoe and air trips. The 1450 fits under airplane seats and my canoe seat. I carry the 120-400 zoom and up to 3 other lenses as well as the D700 body, SB400 flash, and a few spare batteries in spaces carved out of the foam.

My wildlife / grandson-football lens. It has a spot in the Pelican case:

My wife's lightweight "outdoors lens." She let's me borrow it for backpacking trips.

Included in my "library:"
