Trillium vaseyi - Vasey's Trillium, Sweet Wakerobin. Vaseys Trillium, as indicated by the Sweet Wakerobin name by which it is also known, is one of the trilliums whose flower is on a pedicel. The blossom nods below the leaves.

Trillium vaseyi has stamens whose combined filament and anther length make them very prominent. The ovary is a similar maroon color as the recurved petals.
