Oxalis violacea - Violet Wood Sorrel. A low-growing plant of forests and moist prairies, Oxalis violacea is found in much of the eastern United States from New York south.

While normally ranging in color from pink to lavender to violet, Oxalis violacea may also occasionally be white. These are the first plants with white flowers that I've seen, and under magnification a tiny bit of pink hue can be seen.
