Mitella stauropetala - Smallflower Miterwort, Side-flowered miterwort. Smallflower Miterwort is found in 7 northwestern states (CO, ID, MT, OR, UT, WA, WY.) It has basal leaves with unique white blossoms in a raceme thinly populating one side of a stalk that may rise to 30 inches high.

The blossom has 5 petal-like sepals, with the petals being very narrow with three lobes. The flowers are secund all aligning along the same side of the stem although the pedicels seem to alternate from side to side of the stem.
