The fully-opened petals of Trout Lily are frequently recurved, and the stamens become very prominent.

Trout Lily has a lovely long-anthered yellow flower arising on a long stem from usually a pair of green/brown mottled leave. The leaves are where the "trout" in the name due to the similarity in shape and coloration to some trouts.
